Training expert with fluent Portuguese

We are currently seeking training experts with fluent Portuguese and either French or English to provide training on financial and contractual procedures under the 10th EDF. A lively and engaging approach to training is essential. Experience and/or knowledge of EDF procedures would be a distinct advantage, as would experience in ACP, especially lusophone countries.

Brief description: Training on Financial and Contractual Procedures in the framework of the 10 European Development Fund (EDF)
This training programme is essential for the sound and efficient management of EDF resources in light of decentralised management and in the context of EC devolution. It will enable National Authorising Officers' (NAOs) and Regional Authorising Officers' (RAOs) staff as well as EC Staff to better understand the main functioning of the 10th EDF and consequently how to make full use of its financing resources. The purpose of this project is to design and deliver a series of training modules on the 10th EDF Financial and Contractual Procedures and to update and modify the training material for the sessions.

Commencement date: Immediate upon approval

Duration of the assignment: Short term inputs (two-week training courses) to be provided over a 3 year period in at least Portuguese and one of the other two languages (EN/FR)

Requirements:
Qualifications and skills:
- Master's Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject preferably in fields related to
Business, Management, Education, Human Resources or Law.
- Fluency in Portuguese and either French or English
- Excellent communication and presentational skills

General professional experience:
- At least 10 years of working experience (out of which preferably 4 years in projects for
ACP countries).

Specific professional experience:
- Minimum 4 years' experience in the training field (out of which at least 2 years as a trainer)Application instructions:
